The Greater St. George area is located between 45 minutes – 1 hour from Springdale and Zion National Park. Home to the communities of Washington, St. George, Ivins, and Santa Clara you will find another plethora of great amenities and offerings.

Snow Canyon & Red Cliffs Recreation Area
Located to the northwest of St. George lies one of Utah’s best state parks Snow Canyon. Contrary to the name the park rarely sees any snow and is actually a beautiful multicolored sandstone canyon that rivals some of Zion National Park’s beauty. Easy and convenient access makes this a great addition to an upcoming visit to the area. Heading northeast out of St George on I-15 is the Red Cliffs Recreation Area. While not a state park this area is protected and managed by the BLM and Forest Service. Set against the towering backdrop of Pine Valley Mountain this outcropping of vibrant red sandstone is home to one of the areas most beautiful slot canyon areas.
